Everyone now sees the people who also ask, and people also search for in the search bar menu. Now, Google is testing related to recent searches and trending searches in that search bar instead of the people also ask related information.
Google Recent Searches
Last September, we spotted Google testing a new search feature to help searchers with a card of past searches and website visits based on those searches. Later that month, Google shared what it would become. Well, Google is now finally rolling out a new search feature attribute. They are calling these "your related activity" cards in the mobile search results in the US.
Google Trending Searches
In April 2016, Google began showcasing trending search results in the autocomplete search box within the Google Search App. It seems cool, but irrelevant searches are observed after tapping in the search box to see trending searches, and this is why many searchers don't want to use it.
So Google has announced quietly in an ongoing Google Web Search Help thread that you can now opt-out of these trending searches. To do so, you must be using Google Search App version 6.1+. Go to Google Now, click on the menu, and select Settings. Select the Autocomplete option and then toggle off the "Show trending searches."
Why Is This Useful?
From a webmaster's point of view, we think it's a smart way to check whether Google is correctly interpreting websites. Many SEOs have started seeing the same thing, and it's impressive that Google is placing the websites in the correct category.
Google is always testing new features such as the recent Google Product 3 update, people who ask for, search for, etc. The motive of these new small features is to enrich the searcher's experience of using Google as a search engine.
